Roseburg moved one step closer to earning a spot at the OSAA 6A volleyball state tournament.

The Indians (24-3) swept Forest Grove 25-6, 25-15, 25-16 in a playoff match Wednesday night at Stewart Robertson Memorial Gymnasium.

Raluca Gosman, Morgan Haskett and Gabby Kearney combined for 27 kills; and Kiana Cash had 29 assists in the win.

"We played great the first set and our offense looked fantastic," head coach Danielle Haskett said. "Then we let up a little, but got the job done."

Next up, Roseburg hosts Glencoe Saturday at 5:00PM.

One other local team was in action Wednesday as Yoncalla moved on in the 1A state playoffs with a 25-11, 25-15, 25-22 victory over Crow.
