Canyonville Christian Academy took over sole possession of second place in the Mountain View Conference with a 45-40 win over visiting Days Creek Tuesday night.

Clement Dushimimana, Allen Lee and Caleb Munyentwali each scored eight points to lead the Pilots (5-2, 11-2) to the victory.

Kolby Orrison had a game-high 11 points for the Wolves (5-2, 9-5).

The Days Creek girls beat CCA 58-32 behind 10 points from Emily Hopfer.

Sophomore Esther Sandrali had eight points for the Pilots.
