Three Douglas County basketball teams are ranked in the top 10 in the latest coaches polls.

Oakland (7-0, 12-4) is third and Days Creek (5-2, 9-5) eighth in Class 2A boys, while Glide (3-0, 14-2) is eighth in Class 3A girls.

Western Mennonite (96) tops the 2A boys rankings followed by Irrigon (90); Oakland (83); Myrtle Point (65); Toledo (46); Regis (44); Stanfield (34); Days Creek (23); Central Linn (21); and Gaston (20).

Valley Catholic (105) is number one in 3A girl ahead of Vale (102); St. Mary’s (85); Willamina (74); Nyssa (67); Creswell (51); Salem Academy (43); Glide (28); Burns (22); and Umatilla (15).
