South Umpqua lost a key Far West League basketball game Tuesday night.

North Bend beat the Lancers 58-42 as Drew Matthews (26), Matt Woods (15) and Ty Roane (15) combined for 56 of the Bulldogs 58 points.

Junior Erik Johnson led SU (3-5, 10-8) with 24 points.
