Roseburg is proving why its is the top-ranked wrestling team in Class 6A.

Twelve Indians are unbeaten and have advanced into Saturday's semifinal round including Bennett Mesa (106), Austin Harris (113), Tommy Dill (120), Cole Van Anrooy (132), Layne Van Anrooy (138), Kyle Flagor (145), David Harker (152), Ian Thomas (160), Haydn Maley (170), Max Hane (182), Will Reddekopp (195) and Tyler Kailiuli (220).

After day one of competition at the OSAA state championships in Portland, the Indians (142) hold a commanding 90.5 point lead over West Linn (51.5). David Douglas (46) and Hillsboro (46) are tied for third and Grants Pass (42) is in fifth place.
