State Champion Sutherlin dominated the Far West League's top awards.

Junior Miranda Mendenhall was named the league's Most Valuable Player and Josh Grotting was tabbed as the Coach of the Year after guiding the Bulldogs to a perfect 27-0 record and the OSAA Class 4A state title.

Four of the six spots on the first team went to Sutherlin players including juniors Olivia Guiliford and Ricki Mock; and sophomore Kayce Mock. Drew Farmer of Brookings-Harbor and Siuslaw's Ashlee Cole rounded out the top six.

Second team honors went to Sutherlin senior Kylee Carson and Douglas High's Katherine Miller. Trojans Alex Richey and Ally Schofield were honorable mention.

Sutherlin's Kylee Carson was also named to the all-Defensive team along with South Umpqua's Rory Petterson and Shelby Boyd; and junior Jean Rietmann of Douglas.

Roseburg's Pele Gianotti was selected to the Southern Oregon Conference's first team and teammates Fiona Johnson, Jordan Stotler and Ashley Backen were named to the second team.

Yoncalla's Brianne Joslyn and Bid Van Loon swept the top honors in the Skyline League.

Joining Joslyn on the first team were teammate Karen Wickman; Camas Valley's Whitney Lindsey; Laura Holcomb, Amy Parker and Angela Holcomb of Elkton; Powers senior Rebecca Standley and Riley Engdahl of Pacific.
