Ten local boys basketball players and one coach earned all-league recognition in 2014.

Roseburg senior Carson Reid was a second team selection in the Southern Oregon Conference and senior Alex New was named honorable mention.

Oakland's Jeb Harper and Days Creek's James Ellis were the Mountain View Conference's player and coach of the year.

The rest of the MVC's first team included Oakland's Michael Yard; Kevin Smith and Kolby Orrison of Days Creek; Monroe's Kendal Seitzinger and Gerry Snyder of Oakridge.

Four Douglas County athletes made the Skyline League's first team with Camas Valley's Theran Hunt; senior Tracy Doudna of Elkton; UVC's Jordan Mesa and Yoncalla sophomore Zack Van Loon.
