South Umpqua won a pair of Far West League baseball games Friday afternoon in Sutherlin.

The Lancers (2-3, 5-6) scored seven runs in the second inning on their way to a 21-1 victory in game one. Braxton Beerbaum homered for the Bulldogs.

In the nightcap, SU's Justin Bennett hit a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game at 5-5.  South Umpqua went on to score five times in the eighth inning to earn the sweep with a 10-7 win.

Sutherlin drops to 0-6 in the FWL and 0-10 overall.
