Roseburg and Eugene split their Area 4 doubleheader Saturday night at Legion Field.

Jake Forrester struck out nine Challengers in a 3-1 complete-game victory in the opener.

Eugene (5-3, 21-15) scored all of its runs in the first inning off starting pitcher Jacob Fricke and held on to beat the Docs 3-2.

Dr. Stewart's is now 4-6 in league and 11-19 overall.
