Roseburg's Indian Fastpitch 14U softball team lost its second straight game in pool play Wednesday 13-8 to Eastvale of Riverside, CA, in the ASA 14B Western National Tournament at Medford's US Cellular Community Park.

Pool play concludes as the Indians enter bracket play as a #4-seed with a Thursday 9a.m. game against #1-seed Simi Nation of Simi Valley, CA.

Roseburg lost to Long Beach Heartwell of Lakewood, CA, 16-4 in pool play Tuesday.

The tournament, presented by the City of Medford and coordinated by the city's Parks and Recreation Department, boasts 30 teams. Roseburg is joined by five other Oregon teams, including the state champion Silver Bullets from Portland and state runner-up Grants Pass. California has 20 teams in the tourney, mostly from the Los Angeles area. Teams from Washington round out the field.

The tourney continues throughout the week with the championship game set for August 3rd at 1p.m..
