Roseburg continued its run at the single-A American Legion Baseball State Tournament with an 11-8 win over Central Point Saturday at Harry and David Field in Medford.

The Bottlecaps (24-10) scored six times in the first inning which included a bases clearing triple from Hayden Kempke. The Comets (29-12) fought back to tie the game at 7-7 before Isaac Smith smacked a two-run triple to help Pepsi regain the lead.

Smith finished 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI's; Grant Ronk was 2-for-4 with 2 RBI's and Will Reddekopp was 4-for-4.

Roseburg must win twice on Sunday to win the state title.
