Douglas County Fastpitch scored two victories in day two of bracket play Saturday at the Junior Olympic Fast Pitch Girls' B 16-Under Western National Championships in Gillette, Wyoming. The team lost its third game to Belmont, ending its season.

DC defeated Adrenaline White of Rocky Mountain, CO, 10-2 in the early game before surviving a pitcher's duel against La Habra, winning 1-0 at Bicentennial Park. Cidny Dupper pitched a complete-game shutout with five strikeouts. Mikala Dupper singled in Skyler Coate in the 5th inning for the game-winning run. Brittney Deaver picked up the win against Rocky Mountain.

Dupper and Deaver shared pitching duties in Saturday's third game, an 8-6 loss to the Belmont Blast.
