The Camas Valley volleyball team wasted no time Tuesday night, jumping all over visiting Powers 25-8 in the first game en route to a straight set win.

The Lady Hornets improved to 4-3 on the season and will travel to Glendale on Thursday. The Pirates suffered a loss to New Hope in straight sets.

In other small school action, Elkton defeated Yoncalla, North Douglas downed Days Creek, and Umpqua Valley Christian took care of Pacific.

Douglas was a winner in the county's larger schools, taking care of Brookings-Harbor in straight sets. South Umpqua was victorious against North Bend in five games. Roseburg, Sutherlin, Glide and Oakland all suffered losses.
