The Douglas Trojans suffered their sixth straight loss of the season with a 54-6 drubbing to previously winless Brookings-Harbor Friday night in Winston.

It was a tough night for a lot of local teams as South Medford handed Roseburg a 38-8 loss at Spiegelberg Stadium; Sutherlin lost its homecoming game to Cottage Grove 33-7; and South Umpqua was beaten by North Bend 59-32.

Erik Johnson scored on a 42 yard TD run and tossed a 23 yard strike to Alex Kelly to give SU a 14-0 lead midway through the second quarter. However, the Bulldogs (3-0, 6-0) would answer with 28 straight points and they never trailed again enroute to the 27 point win.

Shawn Rigsby and Kyler Merritt had TD runs of 63 and 68 yards respectively for the Lancers.
