DHS FB 2014 2951Douglas lost its seventh straight game of the season losing to Siuslaw 41-12 Friday night in Winston.

The Trojans (0-4, 0-7) will close out the season next week against South Umpqua (2-2, 4-3), a 21-20 loser to visiting Marshfield. The Pirates (4-0, 6-1) erased a 12-7 halftime deficit with a pair of third quarter touchdowns and held on for the one point win.

SU quarterback Erik Johnson ran for one score and threw a 14 yard TD pass to wide receiver Shawn Rigsby.

Elsewhere, Grants Pass upended Roseburg 47-15 dropping the Indians to 1-4 in conference and 2-5 overall; Sutherlin lost to Sweet Home 40-22; Glide beat Pleasant Hill 58-17; Oakland (4-0, 5-2) took over sole possession of first place in the Mountain View Conference with a 56-6 victory at Oakridge; Riddle lost to Monroe 46-12; Reedsport picked up its first league win 47-19 over Waldport; Camas Valley (4-0, 4-1) took care of Elkton 66-22; Lowell rocked Yoncalla 90-42; North Douglas beat Mapleton 40-22; and Glendale lost to Powers 54-8.
