Camas Valley was one of two Douglas County teams to qualify for the upcoming OSAA 1A volleyball state tournament.

The Hornets defeated North Clackamas Christian 25-18, 25-21, 15-25, 25-22 Saturday afternoon in Oregon City. Camas Valley opens tournament action Friday morning against Lowell.

North Douglas also punched its ticket to the OSAA championships with a 25-18, 25-13, 25-8 over Griswold. The Skyline League champions takes on Crane in their opening round match.

Roseburg, Sutherlin, Reedsport and Days Creek were all eliminated on Saturday.
