Camas Valley is one of four Douglas County football teams still battling for a state championship.

The Hornets (7-1) take on Triangle Lake (6-3) is 1A quarterfinal game on Saturday, November 15 at Finlay Field in Roseburg. Last week, the Skyline League champions opened the playoffs with a 52-12 victory over visiting Pine Eagle.

Yoncalla (8-2) joins Camas Valley in the round of eight as the Eagles go to Adrian (9-0) for a battle with the unbeaten and second-ranked Antelopes.  

The other two games involving local schools will take place Friday night as South Umpqua (8-2) travels to Far West League foe North Bend (9-0) in a Class 4A quarterfinal. The Bulldogs won the first meeting between the two teams 59-32 back on October 10.

Elsewhere, Oakland (8-2) goes after its ninth straight win on the season when the Oakers travel to Knappa. The 2A quarterfinal game is being played on a neutral field at Astoria High School.
