Sherman ended Camas Valley's season one game shy of playing for the 2014 state title.

The #8 Huskies (11-1) jumped out to a 16-0 halftime lead and never trailed in a 24-18 win over the Hornets in a OSAA 1A semifinal game Saturday at Liberty High School in Hillsboro.

Junior quarterback Tylan Stoffall threw for 218 yards and a touchdown and ran 11 yards for another score as fourth-ranked Camas Valley finishes the season with an overall record of 8-2.
