South Umpqua won the 2014 boys Holiday Invitational championship Saturday in Winston.

Erik Johnson scored a game-high 25 points and Nathan Thompson finished with 16 points to lead the Lancers (4-1) to a 70-36 victory over host Douglas.

The Trojans (3-3) got 11 points from junior Robinson Parker.

La Pine captured the girls title with a 30-28 win over the Douglas Trojans.
