West Salem never trailed in a 71-49 win over Roseburg in a non-league boys basketball game Monday night in Salem.

The Indians (2-5) erased a 14-point first half deficit and were down 28-26 at the break behind the shooting of Stephen Patoine, but the Titans (3-5) were able to extend the lead and blow the game open in the fourth quarter. The junior guard finished with a team-high 20 points and senior Dylan Knapp added 9 points.
