Umpqua stayed in the top spot in the latest NWAC women's basketball rankings.

The Riverhawks (14-2) received five of the eight first-place votes and a total of 74 points to finish just ahead of number two Centralia (70) in the January 8 Alaska Airlines coaches poll.

Clackamas (45) was third followed by Wentachee Valley (29); Lane (27); Treasure Valley (19); Walla Walla (17); and Spokane (15).
