Roseburg completed the first half of the Southwest Conference season with a 51-28 win over Thurston.

The Indians are now 5-2 in league and 12-5 overall under first-year head coach Rich Robles.

On the boys' side, South Umpqua lost its second straight Far West League game 52-36 at Marshfield.

Erik Johnson led the Lancers (2-3, 12-6) with 16 points.
