Sisters held South Umpqua to just nine second half points in a 44-29 win over the Lancers in a 4A play-in game Friday night in Tri City.

SU (16-9) trailed 26-25 after three quarters, but were outscored 18-4 in the final period.

Senior Erik Johnson scored a team-high eight points and finished his career as the school's all-time leading scorer.

Elsewhere, Oakland was eliminated from the 2A playoffs after suffering a 53-32 loss to Burns; Yoncalla won its 1A playoff 62-34 over Crane; and Days Creek lost to Country Christian 57-39.

The Douglas girls lost their play-in game with Marshfield 37-36.
