Three Douglas County basketball teams are headed to the 1A state tournament in Baker City.

The Yoncalla boys (24-3) qualified with a 62-34 win over visiting Crane. The Eagles will open tournament action Wednesday at 6:30PM against Siletz Valley (21-4).

On the girls' side, North Douglas (25-3) beat Sherman 58-27; and Elkton upset Crane 57-56.

The Warriors play McKenzie (15-11) in their opening round game, while the Elks (19-9 ) ace Country Christian (23-4).

Both games are set for Thursday, March 5.
