The Roseburg girls basketball team earned a spot in next week's OSAA 6A state tournament.

The Indians beat West Linn 43-29 Friday night at Stewart Robertson Memorial Gymnasium. RHS enters the 8-team tourney with an overal record of 19-7.

Elsewhere, the North Douglas girls lost to Country Christian 43-40 in a 1A semifinal game in Baker City.

Bella Mast (11) and Sabrina MacDowell (10) led the Warriors in scoring.

The Sutherlin boys lost 48-43 to visiting Madras in a Class 4A playoff game on Friday.

Wryland McKnight had 22 points in the loss.
