Umpqua's Ashli Payne has been named to the 2015 WBCA Junior/Community College Coaches’ All-America Team.

The 5’11” sophomore guard led the Riverhawks to a 27-5 record and a third-place finish at the NWAC Championships. Payne averaged 24 points per game at the tournament, including a 29-point performance in her final game at UCC.

Freshman teammate Sawyer Kluge was an honorable mention All-American selection.

The selection committee is composed of one representative from each of the nine geographical regions and a chairperson.
