South Umpqua won its third straight game to open the season with an 18-6 blowout over Lakeview Tuesday morning at the City of Medford Tourney at US Cellular Park.

The Lancers (3-1) lost to Yamhill-Carlton 11-0 later in the day.

Roseburg fell to West Linn 4-1 at the Jesuit/Sunset Varsity Softball Tournament.

Sutherlin's game at North Douglas was canceled due to weather conditions.
