Roseburg looks to bounce back from its first losing season in more than 35 years.

The Southwest Conference coaches poll predicts the Indians (33) will finish in a tie for third place with Grants Pass (33).

Top returning players include senior David Irvine (C), Chris Stone (P/OF), Chance Beecher (OF), Will Reddekopp (P) and Isaac Hartwick (P).

Defending 6A state champion North Medford (49) received seven of the eight first place votes with Sheldon (43) a close second.

Rounding out the poll were South Medford (26), Thurston (20), Willamette (11) and South Eugene (9).
