The playing days are not yet over for South Umpqua High School basketball star Erik Johnson.

The school's all-time leading scorer has signed a letter-of-intent to play for Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay.

More than 30 friends and family celebrated with Johnson during his signing Wednesday night at the Pizza Palace in Myrtle Creek.
