ROSEBURG, Ore. -- The Roseburg baseball team tasted victory and almost took the rubber game of their season series with Grants Pass, but the Cavemen mounted a come-from-behind victory to take the second game of Saturday's doublehheader 5-4 at Legion Memorial Field in Roseburg.

The Indians won the first game with a 4-0 shutout over Grants Pass. In the nightcap, Roseburg led 4-0 but a four-run fifth tied the game, swinging momentum over to the Cavemen who added a later run for the win.

Roseburg wound up 1-2 in Southwest Conference play after the split, 3-4 overall as the Cavers took the season series two games to one.

The Indians play next at South Eugene on Tuesday.
