The Douglas softball team beat South Umpqua 15-2 and 11-1 Friday in Tri City.

The Trojans have now won five straight games and improved 11-1 in league and 17-3 overall.

In baseball, South Umpqua stretched its winning streak to eight games with a Far West League sweep at Douglas. SU won the opener 9-2 and took the nightcap 15-2.

The Lancers (9-3, 12-9) got a pair of complete games from Cody Gray and Cameron Everett.
