Marshfield bounced back from a game one loss to earn a split of its Far West League doubleheader with Douglas.

More importantly, the Pirates (14-1, 20-6) captured the league title thanks to the 12-8 victory in game two Friday afternoon in Winston.

The Trojans (13-2, 19-4) handed Marshfield its first FWL loss of the season with an 18-8 win over the Pirates in the opener.
