Roseburg's Dr. Stewart's American Legion baseball team has released its 2015 schedule for this summer and the Docs are busy early, playing eight games in five straight days to open the season.

The opener is June 12th at home against Marist. On June 13th the Docs play a non-league doubleheader against Mid Valley at South Albany High School beginning at 4 p.m.

A day later Roseburg host the annual Docs Alumni game at Legion Field June 14th, followed by the official home opener against Humboldt, California June 15th.

The following day marks the first Area-4 Conference games of the season June 16th -- a doubleheader against the Eugene Challengers at Swede Johnson Stadium in Eugene.

The Docs are scheduled to appear in two regular-season tournaments this season. They will host the Docs Tourney June 26-28 and play in the Corvallis Tournament July 2-5.

Also of note, Roseburg is hosting a non-leaguer against a traveling team from Australia June 24th.

The regular season ends with a non-league game against Salem Withnell July 22nd. The state tournament is scheduled to begin July 29.
