ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Auto racing at the Douglas County Speedway is in full swing and fans can take advantage of free entry at Friday's event.
Friday and Saturday (June 5-6) the 'karts' return to the speedway to begin their second race on the new outdoor track.
Officials say the track crew has been working on the racing surface tirelessly to get the improvements in order.
Gates open at 3 p.m. Friday; racing starts at 6:30 p.m.
Pricing for entry is as follows: $30 car/driver, $20 Fart Karts, $10 pit pass, $10 transponder rental, $20 per night for camping.
All spectators get in for free.
