Roseburg's Dr. Stewart's American Legion baseball team has announced its roster for 2015.

Six Roseburg High players were chosen to play on the squad. Class 3A runner-up Glide has three players and 2A Oakland has two.

4A programs Douglas, South Umpqua and Sutherlin each have one player on the Docs' roster who played high school ball this spring, though some schools are also represented by four college players returning this summer to play for the Docs.

Here's the breakdown & players:

Roseburg: Chance Beecher, Chris Stone, Will Reddekopp, Isaac Smith, Isaac Hartwick, David Irvine

Glide: Jacob Fricke, Tylan Dubois, Devin Freeman.

Oakland: Roy Benzel, Angus Swann

South Umpqua: Shawn Rigsby

Douglas: Christian Osborne

Sutherlin: Wryland McKnight

Returning from College: Wyatt McKnight (Sutherlin), Justin Bennett (S. Umpqua), Kyle Westbrooks (S. Umpqua), Kylar Wolford (Roseburg)

The Docs open the season at home with non-leaguer against Marist June 12 before hitting the road for a doubleheader against the Mid Valley Rockets in Albany on Saturday, June 13. The Docs begin Area-4 Conference play June 16 with a doubleheader at Eugene.

The Docs will look to improve on last year's fourth-place conference finish behind Medford, Eugene and Grants Pass. The Docs were 7-9 in league play last season, 18-27 overall.
