ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Construction on the gym roof at Roseburg High has been postponed for a couple of weeks.

Officials told KPIC News the delay is due to recent design changes that will save the school $80,000.

They anticipate construction to wrap up by November as planned.

KPIC News spoke with district officials who say that as the mascot debate continues, new materials that are part of the project will not have Indian references.
