ROSEBURG, Ore. -- Roseburg's Dr. Stewart's American Legion baseball team has won two straight games following a 9-2 road win in Florence Sunday over the Three Rivers Sandblasters.

On Friday, the Docs split a non-league doubleheader with the Klamath Falls Cardinals, losing the first game 14-4 and winning the nightcap 7-6 in 10 innings.

The Docs (0-2 league, 10-4 overall) resume Area 4 League action Tuesday with an afternoon twin bill against longtime rival Medford. First pitch of game one is scheduled for 2 p.m. at North Medford High School. The Mustangs are 3-1 in league play, tied for first with Eugene; 11-4 overall.

In single-A Legion baseball Monday, Roseburg's Umpqua Lions (1-1 overall) are in action at Central Point. That doubleheader kicks off at 6 p.m.
