ROSEBURG, Ore. -- CASA of Douglas County will hold its third annual Boot Scootin' Benefit Saturday, June 27 at the Melrose Vineyards. It starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 10 p.m.

One of the auction lots is an American Legion Lot.

It includes: Coach for a Day (bring your team to Legion Field and head coach Scott Shaver will run practice for the day); 5 hitting lessons from Coach Shaver; 2 Pitching Lessons from Doc's pitching coach Tom Nielsen; 4 general season passes to this year's games; a voucher for 4 general season passes to next year's games; 5 t-shirts; 10 ice cream vouchers from Dairy Queen; and a mammoth pizza from Dakota Street Pizza.

Proceeds from the auction go to CASA of Douglas County to recruit and train volunteers to speak in court on behalf of the most vulnerable children in Douglas County.
