North Coos handed the Umpqua Lions a pair of Area 4 losses Tuesday at Legion Field in Roseburg.

Roseburg (1-3, 1-5) dropped the opener 8-3 and lost game two 15-7.

Austin Soria led North Coos with four hits and four RBI's.

Trevor Melhoff was 2-for-3 in both games for the Lions; John Redfield was 2-for-4 with an RBI in the first game.

Next up, the Lions travel to Sheldon for a league doubleheader on Monday, June 29.
