BOISE, ID -- The Roseburg Renegades Jr. State baseball team continued its Idaho trip and bounced back from a first-day loss to sweep the Boise Capitals Monday.

In the first game, Roseburg won 11-6 behind the arm of Stephen Assed, who pitched 6 1/3 innings for win.

In the nightcap, Brody Black picked up the complete game in a 12-4 win over the Capitals.

Roseburg was hot at the plate with a combined 19 hits on the day.

The Renegades improved to 11-3 overall on the season; they play at Bishop Kelly Tuesday at 6 p.m.

On the first day of the trip, the Renegades lost to Fruitland 10-7.
