CORVALLIS, Ore. -- Roseburg's Dr. Stewart's was victorious in its first-round game at the Corvallis Star Spangled Tournament with a 5-2 win over the Bend Elks Thursday.

Kyle Westbrooks picked up the win for Roseburg, striking out eight Elk hitters in 6 1/3 innings to pick up the win. Tylan Dubois picked up the save.

The Docs (17-8 overall) face NW Star Academy of Portland Friday in the second round at 1 p.m. in Corvalls.
