ROSEBURG, Ore. -- All eight teams were still alive at the beginning of Sunday, but by day's end two will be eliminated from the 'A' American Legion Legion Baseball State Tournament in Roseburg.
In the early game, Roseburg's Dr. Randol's (13-11 overall) bounced back after Saturday's opening-round loss with a 7-2 win over Stayton, eliminating the Bandits.
The Crowns will face La Grande at 4 p.m. Monday.
In the late game, Roseburg's Pepsi Bottlecaps trailed Central Point by a run in the top of the 7th before scoring 4 runs to take a 6-3 victory.
The Bottlecaps will North Medford Monday at 1 p.m.
