REDDING, Calif. – The Umpqua Community College women's wrestling team made its season debut with a 38-4 dual victory against Life Pacific (Calif.) and a 24-16 exhibition loss to regional rival Southern Oregon University, last Saturday in the Oregon-California Duals at Foothill High School, the school reported.

For the RiverHawks, Esthela Trevino won by tech fall at 101lbs, along with tech fall wins by Tayah Basped at 137lbs (12-1) and Sarah Conner at 130 lbs. (10-0).

The RiverHawks are back in action when they travel to the Mike Clock Open on Nov. 10th.
