Umpqua Valley Christian secured a commendable third-place finish in the 1A state volleyball tournament with a 3-1 victory over Central Christian. 

The Monarchs showcased their prowess by defeating Powder Valley, Prairie City, and Echo before being bested by Crane, the eventual state champion, in the semifinals.

In the Class 3A tournament, Catlin Gabel advanced to the next stage by defeating Douglas 3-1 in the second round.
