After 8 seasons of leadership and success, Head Coach Candice Renyer has announced her retirement from Umpqua valley Christian volleyball, the school reported on social media.

"Candice helped build a program that reached the state final site four straight seasons, including the highest finish in school history.
We are incredibly thankful for the impact she has made on so many student-athletes," UVC said.

Umpqua Community College alum Abby Whipple will take over the program.

"We are excited to welcome Abby Whipple as the next UVC Varsity Volleyball Head Coach and look forward to the next chapter of Monarch Volleyball," UVC said. "Thank you, Coach Renyer, for the leadership and heart you gave to this program."
