ROSEBURG, Ore. — The Umpqua Valley Tennis Center has hired a new general manager, turning to a familiar face in the local tennis and pickleball community to help lead day-to-day operations and expand outreach.

The UVTC Board of Directors announced it has hired Nathan Miller as the facility’s new general manager. The board said Miller is a member of the tennis and pickleball community and brings a background in journalism, community outreach and photography through his work with The News-Review, the local newspaper.

In the role, Miller will oversee daily facility operations, support programming, develop club marketing and collateral materials, and work to improve communication and engagement with members and the broader community, according to the board.

Members can expect to see Miller at his desk in the pro shop, the board said.
