A local high school athlete has signed a National Letter of Intent to play mens soccer at Adams State College this coming fall.

South Umpqua senior Nathan Ronco was a two-year starter in Tri City and earned first team all-league honors in 2010. 

"He was a versatile guy that could play fullback, midfielder or forward," SU head coach Rick DeWitt said. "Nathan plays soccer year round, so he really knows the game."

Adams State College is an NCAA Division II school located in Alamosa, Colorado.
