A cold shooting performance doomed Sutherlin in a 34-31 loss to Ontario at the 4A Girls State Championships in Corvallis.
For the second straight game, the Bulldogs (21-6) struggled to score and finished just 24.5 percent from the floor (12-49). In Wedensday's opener, the Far West League champions shot a dismal 23.8 percent (10-of-42) for the game.
Sutherlin's Randi Kostner scored eight points, while senior Brooklyn Norman finished with seven points.
