Roseburg's Pepsi Bottlecaps are one of eight teams vying for the championship at the class 'A' American Legion baseball regional tournament August 7-11 in Kearns, Utah.

Roseburg won the state title July 28 and will now represent Oregon at the five-day event which gets underway on Friday.

"The kids are very proud to be Oregon's team," Roseburg head coach Richie Charles said. "We're excited to see how we match-up against the other clubs in the region."

Pepsi (23-10) opens tournament play at 11:30AM (PST) against Laurel, Montana (52-12-1). Righthander Josh Graham will get the start for the Bottlecaps and hopes to continue his success in the postseason. Graham is 7-1 on the year, including two wins at last week's state tournament in Medford.

The Regional tournament features teams from Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, and two teams from Utah.
