Next up, Douglas (3-1) will play its Far West League home opener on Friday, October 1 against unbeaten Siuslaw.

South Umpqua quarterback Josh Kennedy threw for 216 yards and three touchdowns in the Lancers 42-14 win at Rogue River.

Oakland improved to 2-1 in the Mountain View Conference with a 37-13 win over previously unbeaten Oakridge; Glendale (2-1, 3-1) was too much for Riddle 46-13; North Douglas (1-2, 1-3) lost for the third time in four games 34-14 to Monroe; Yoncalla (2-1) snuck by Crow 12-6; and Days Creek blew out Chemawa 56-0.

Camas Valley lost its first game of the season as Triad downed the Hornets 32-26 in the league opener for both teams; and Elkton (3-0) took care of Prospect 52-0.
